Why See a Prosthodontist?

Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties that is recognized by the Canadian Dental Association. Prosthodontics specializes in the diagnosis, restoration and replacement of worn and missing teeth. Prosthodontists can restore oral function and aesthetics through the placement of restorations or prostheses such as dentures (fixed and removable), crowns, implant crown or bridge and veneers. Advanced deterioration of a patient’s teeth usually creates issues besides loss of tooth or tooth structure which can be addressed by our office. While we may serve as the architect quarterback of a dental treatment plan, we often collaborate with your family dentist and other dental specialists to facilitate the completion of your treatment.
